Metafield Sync maps spreadsheet columns to Shopify variant metafields and updates them in bulk. Values are normalized on the fly so the data lands in Shopify in the exact shape you want.
How it works

Map columns
For each metafield, choose the column in the sheet that feeds it.

Pick a normalization preset
Trim, lowercase, uppercase, ISO date, boolean — apply automatically per column.

Add custom replace rules
Map your own values, like Y → true / N → false, before they reach Shopify.

Decide on empty cells
Choose whether empty cells clear the metafield (clearOnEmpty) or are skipped.

Preview and sync
Two-step preview shows the normalized value next to the current Shopify value.
